Make a Difference with Waltham Youth Football & Cheer!
We're all about teamwork on and off the field, and that includes our amazing volunteers! Your support helps create a fun and rewarding experience for all our football players and cheerleaders. Many of our volunteer opportunities are do double duty with fundraising!
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Concession Stand Hero: Keep the energy high with delicious snacks and drinks at home games.
- Chain Gang: Show your team spirit by holding the down markers on the sidelines. Volunteer spots are first offered to football families.
- Cheer Competition Crew: Help make our cheer competitions run smoothly! Must be 18+ to volunteer - pick any session!
- Supporting admininstrative tasks: Reach out to Erin Donovan or Steph Krol if you would like to support these efforts.
By volunteering for 5 hours this season, you'll receive a $50 refund of the volunteer fee at the end of the season! The league tracks volunteer hours, so be sure to note your player/cheerleader's name in the comments field when you sign up. Please fill out the following 2024 WYFC Volunteer Form if you completed your 5+ hours during the 2024 season.
Fundraising with Fun!
This year fundraising funds are supporting the purchases of new equipment for the football players (uniforms & helmets) and new mats for the cheerleaders. Most of these are double duty - volunteer and fundraise!
- Restaurant Nights: Enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant while supporting the program.

- EMASS Concession Stands
- Cheer Competition Volunteers: This is a HUGE fundraising opportunity! Helping at the competition brings in an average of $300 per volunteer.
